Minnesota State Fair, August 2015, lots and lots of coyote masks.

Begun by the incomparable Debra Frasier, the Alphabet Forest is a wonderful literary oasis in the center of the crowds and general hubbub of "The Great Minnesota Get Together." Every day of the fair, children can meet a different Minnesota children's author who will have a fun activity (based on one of their books) to occupy them. I spent a delightful, if hot and sticky, day at the Alphabet Forest and had a fabulous time engrossed in the creativity of children as they made these wonderful coyote masks. And then I ate!
